Poet Juansen Dizon reached out to me to provide interior illustrations for his third book of poetry, Soft Feelings.
I started this series to represent the moments of calm that I have within the chaos of my routine with my dogs, and create an illustrated vinyasa flow of our day to day.
This was inspired by an article from Forbes about people across the United States receiving unsolicited packages from China containing seeds. The USDA urged recipients not to plant the seeds, but I couldn’t help but imagine what would happen if the seeds themselves went rogue.
