When tasked with creating an updated look and feel for the AVOXI website, my primary aims were to highlight the simplicity and ease-of-use of the new software platform, highlight the real-world human connections that AVOXI’s telecommunications solutions create, and to inject some much needed energy, friendliness and humanity to the brand.
Rather than display the platform in mockups of laptops and PC screens as before, I pulled the application window forward and highlighted only the necessary information to convey the user experience. Additionally, adding rounded corners to these modal boxes helped to emphasize the friendly and approachable user experience the software provides to its non-technical users.
The addition of photography achieves the goal of reminding the viewer that, at the end of the day, AVOXI’s aim is to provide exceptional customer experiences. There is a lot of complexity in telecom but it all boils down to transmitting a conversation between two people. Injecting the human presence here also aims to provide context and warmth to these platform graphics, that otherwise might feel abstract or cold.
Lastly, I expanded the brand’s secondary color palette to add more energy and vibrancy to what was otherwise a monochromatic blue palette and created a new set of logos that aligned better with what was being used in the new AVOXI platform.
